DISC Remote Team Training Workshop
I’m excited that you are seizing this opportunity to share the power of DISC with your remote team!
Building trust with those on your team requires intentional work when they don’t all reside in the same area. This workshop was created to work using your standard online conferencing tools like Zoom, GoToMeeting and many more. Simply gather everyone online and share the videos that will guide your team through each training and exercise as they work through their DISC Remote Team Training Workbook page-by-page.
Below the videos are resources for you as the team leader – outlines, online forms and a place to enter your questions. I would love to help you with your workshop, so please share your questions and comments!
You don’t need to become an expert with DISC to bring its value to your team. I’ve done all of the hard lifting for you, so you can actually participate in the process and learn along with your team!
If you aren’t familiar with group conferencing software, I recommend practicing a bit. During the different sessions, you will need to share your screen playing the YouTube videos including pausing the videos while the team discusses what happened. You will also need to allow the team to share their video feeds with the group. Practice these steps before hand and you will be ready to help your team learn about DISC, themselves and each other.

Important Focal Points
The key truths about DISC are:
- Each of the four Primary DISC types are equally valuable and important.
- Everyone is a combination of each of the four types.
- DISC measures behavioral tendencies, and anyone can change their behavior at any time.
- Maturity doesn’t mean that someone raises their number on any or all of their DISC scores to the top, but that they understand their style, and leverage their Strengths to bring about the best results for everyone.
Your goal is for each workshop participant to leave with:
- A better understanding of themselves.
- An increased value for the different styles.
- Tools to improve communication.
- Have fun and demonstrate how to be a learner
