Fair Use License

This page outlines the terms under which DISC facilitator materials may be used. Please read carefully before leading your first workshop.

DISC-U.org & Launchable Leadership — Fair Use License

By receiving these materials from or on behalf of DISC-U.org and Launchable Leadership, you have purchased a license to use these copyrighted outlines to provide pro-bono or paid training and workshops. By using or adapting these outlines, you agree to honor the fair use provisions given here.

You may modify the outlines to add your own personal stories, notes, or to fit your clientele or presenting style. The following five guidelines must be followed:

You must purchase a license from DISC-U.org to use these outlines. You may not give away, sell, or transfer these Presenter Materials — or a customized version — to others without written permission from DISC-U.org or Launchable Leadership.

You may not remove the copyright or attribution to Jason Hedge, DISC-U.org, or Launchable Leadership from any materials you use or adapt.

Each individual workshop participant must purchase their own copy of The Essential DISC Training Workbook. You may not substitute other workbooks or photocopy pages out of the workbook for use as handouts. The workbook is available on Amazon.

You are encouraged to advertise workshops using your own personal and/or business name. You do not have permission to represent yourself as DISC-U.org, Launchable Leadership, or an approved trainer of either without prior written permission.

You may not translate this course into another language without prior written permission. Contact [email protected] with any questions regarding this license.

Summary: You have a license to lead DISC workshops using these materials, add your own content, and charge for your services — as long as every participant purchases their own workbook, you keep the original attribution intact, and you do not distribute or resell the facilitator materials to others.

Required Participant Workbook

Every participant in your DISC workshop must have their own copy of The Essential DISC Training Workbook. This is a requirement of the Fair Use License — no substitutions or photocopies are permitted.
